Note on health topics
DADA is a diary for recording everyday life with a baby. The app is not a medical device and makes no diagnoses. The guide values shown for sleep, amounts drunk and diapers come from publicly available professional sources (AAP/AASM, NHS, WHO, La Leche League) and are a rough orientation without warranty. They are no substitute for medical advice.
Every child develops at its own pace. If you have questions, doubts or concerns, please talk to your paediatrician or midwife, or in an emergency to the medical emergency service.
The note on how long prepared food keeps (“bottle freshness timer”) is a non-binding guide value as well. What counts are the manufacturer’s details on the packaging and the hygiene recommendations of your health professional.
Disclaimer
The contents of this website and of the app have been compiled with care. No warranty is given for their accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Liability claims against the responsible person for damage of a material or immaterial nature arising from access to, use or non-use of the published information are excluded as far as legally permissible. Cases of intent and gross negligence are excepted.
Use of the app is at your own responsibility. In particular, DADA is no substitute for your own attention and supervision of the child. No liability is accepted for the loss of data; back up your entries regularly via your device’s cloud backup or the app’s export function.
